What can I do when the ISSN list I uploaded to isn't "(Available)"?

When you upload a file into Ulrich's Serials Analysis System, the System will read, validate, and process your file before making your file available for analysis. Initially, an uploaded file is given a  status of "(New)" and shows that no ISSN have yet been processed:

The System usually processes a new file quickly, and makes the file available for analysis after a short duration. Occasionally, a file may be delayed in the processing queue.

If the file you have uploaded displays a "(New)" status for an extended period of time, you may force the System to move your file to "(Processing)" status.

Follow these steps to force the System to move your file from "(New)" to  "(Processing)" status:

    1.  Click Edit next to the list name:

    2.  On the edit page, click the "generate statistics on this list" option:

    3.  When the validation page loads, click on the link to "check on the status" of your uploaded file:

    4.  Display the status of your file:

You may need to refresh the validation page more than once to display the latest status of your file.
