    Question

Oracle announced end of extended support for Oracle 11g Release 1 in August 2015.
What does it mean in terms of support for Ex Libris applications using Oracle 11.1.0.7 as Aleph 20?

    Answer

Also after end of Oracle support, Exlibris will continue to assist the customer with Oracle problems.

The only problem that may occur is downloading oracle patches created after Oracle premier support ended, but otherwise both Oracle support and us continue to support.

In any case we strongly recommend to upgrade to latest Aleph release which currently (May 2014) is Aleph 22 using Oracle 11.2.0.4 to receive the best level of support from Ex Libris.
