License workflow: Extra space when pasting code as part of task L-3 causes error

In the license workflow, if the user wants to link a license, there is a step to identify the license to link to and to put that license code in a response box (task L-3). Because the license codes are so long, one will naturally cut and paste. However, a trailing space causes an error message saying the code is not valid.
The problem occurs only if the copied string includes a space that appears after a code - not always this is the case.
Deleting the space solves the problem. The system should know how to deal with this extra space.
