Oracle log in Verde

The Oracle alert log can be useful for getting additional information beyond what is registered in vlog/server.log. This log is located at $ORACLE_HOME/../../admin/verde1/bdump/alert_verde1.log and can be read only by the oracle user, not by the verde user.
For example, if the harvester failed, and neither harvester_client.log nor server.log help to get a clue, review this log, maybe you will see that Oracle was shut down in the middle of the process.
