In this article, you will find how to force a user to logout. Force Logout is helpful for initiating an app update, upgrade, or troubleshooting.

Goal

In this article, you will find how to force a user to logout.

Force Logout is helpful for initiating an app update, upgrade, or troubleshooting.

After completing this how-to, the user will have to re-enter his credentials in order to use the CampusM app. 

First Step

Open App Manager Settings and click on 'Force Logout', under the 'User Management' title, in the settings menu.

Second Step

Choose one of the options:

  • All - to force all app users to logout.
  • Roles - a dropdown will open, choose a role to Force Logout of users who have a specific role.
  • Email Addresses - Add email addresses of the users you want to force them to logout.
    • In order to force multiple addresses logout- add a comma between the addresses.

 Click on 'save'. You will get a message about whether the action succeeded or not.
