360 KB: Literature Online (legacy) databases from ProQuest: Database Migration -- August 2019
What is happening to the Literature Online (legacy) databases?
ProQuest has migrated Literature Online (LION) content to a new platform. The legacy LION platform will be shut down on 5 August 2019. All URLs pointing to the old platform will redirect to the new site.
We have created four new databases in the Knowledgebase. Please select the appropriate database for your institution from the list below and subscribe to it in the Client Center. Be sure to un-subscribe from your LION legacy database at that time (Literature Online Core (LION Core) (legacy) - dbid CLO, or Literature Online Premium (LION Premium) (legacy) - dbid PPXUT).
New Literature Online Databases:
Literature Online (LION) - dbid PROLI
Literature Online Premium - dbid PQLOP
Literature Online (LION) - US Customers Only - dbid PQLNA
Literature Online Premium - US Customers Only - dbid PQLEO
Action you need to take:
- Update the holdings in your Intota or Client Center profile by subscribing to the new database instead of the old database. For information on how to update your profile, and considerations prior to removing the old database from your profile:
- If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds direct URLs or database specific information to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after 5 August.
