Perpetual Access Title Representation in Springer Nature KBARTs
We have been receiving customer cases that Springer Nature titles that have ceased or transferred, but to which customers have retained perpetual access, have been removed from the Springer Complete Journals/Books title lists.
Springer is aware of this issue, and is working for a broader resolution to where these titles should be represented.
In the interim, as a service to our customers Ex Libris has created a Perpetual Access target based which includes the titles raised in customer cases. The target was released on 26 March 2023. The target is selective so that customers can activate only those titles to which they have access. The target was created to better serve our customers based on titles which were requested by customers and is not an official Springer target.
