What is happening to the Ethnic NewsWatch: A History databases?
Update - January 20, 2023: ProQuest has changed the status of this database and it is no longer being retired. Instead, the database will be hidden in the Knowledgebase. Libraries that currently subscribe to the database will continue to have access to this database. However, if your library is not already subscribed, you will not be able to view this database in the Knowledgebase.
Ethnic NewsWatch: A History and Ethnic NewsWatch: A History (ENWH) (Alumni Edition) are no longer being supported as standalone products by ProQuest. The content from both of these databases can be found in other Ethnic NewsWatch databases, as shown in the table below.
In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from these 2 databases in the Knowledgebase on January 31, 2023. The database will become a zero-titles database.
|Current Database||DB code|
|Ethnic NewsWatch: A History||M4I||Ethnic NewsWatch||LD-|
|Ethnic NewsWatch: A History (ENWH) (Alumni Edition)||887||Ethnic NewsWatch (Alumni)||LD.|
