360 KB: LitFinder Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- April 2018

What is happening to the database LitFinder?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the LitFinder database from provider Gale in the Knowledgebase. Gale has notified us that there is no cover-to-cover full-text titles included in this database.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from LitFinder database in the Knowledgebase on April 2, 2018. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is [17F].)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before April 2, 2018:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
