360 KB: Nordicom Open Access Journals Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- August 2014

What is happening to the database Nordicom Open Access Journals?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for Nordicom Open Access Journals from provider Nordicom in the 360 KB knowledgebase. The provider is no longer keeping track of these titles so there is no way for us to keep the collection up-to-date.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the 360 KB collection policy, all titles will be removed from Nordicom Open Access Journals database and the database will be hidden in 360 KB on August 20. The database will become a zero-titles database, and no future subscriptions will be possible. (NOTE: The database code for this database is V9X.) This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database.

Actions you may need to take:

• If you are a 360 Resource Manager or 360 Counter client, you may need to make some changes before August 20.
