What is happening to Open Access Digital Library database?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Open Access Digital Library from Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries in the Knowledgebase. However, they can no longer provide us updates for this collection.
In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), the database is now hidden in the Knowledgebase. Libraries that currently subscribe to the database will continue to have access to this database. However if your library is not already subscribed, you will not be able to view this database in the Knowledgebase. (NOTE: The database code for this database is KQ8.)
We recognize the value of open access content to our libraries and though we can no longer update this collection, we will be leaving current titles for the Open Access Digital Library in the Knowledgebase. So, while you may continue to track this database as part of your collection, any title removals, URL changes, date changes, etcetera, will need to be made manually.
Should this situation change in the future, this answer will be updated accordingly.
