360 KB: Oxford Journals-WALDO Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- June 2017

What is happening to the database Oxford Journals - WALDO?

EDIT: The date of this change has been moved from May 8th to June 21st

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Oxford Journals - WALDO from provider Oxford University Press in the Knowledgebase. After communications with WALDO consortia, it has been determined that this database is no longer being support and not receiving updates.

The database Oxford Journals-WALDO from the provider Oxford University Press is no longer being updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Oxford Journals - WALDO database and the database will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on June 21st, 2017. The database will become a zero-titles database, and no future subscriptions will be possible. (NOTE: The database code for this database is KSI.)

In place of Oxford Journals-WALDO collection, it was determined that subscribers to this collection should switch over to one of the following general collections:

AEMDU     Oxford Journals Full Collection 2017
ROX     Oxford Journals Current Collection (1996-Present)
ROZ     Oxford Journals Archive Collection (Through 1995)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before June 21st, 2017:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
