360 KB: ProQuest Central China Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- February 2023

What is happening to the database ProQuest Central China?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the database ProQuest Central China from provider ProQuest in the Knowledgebase. ProQuest has changed how this collection is configured. The database will remain active, but all contents will be surfaced in discovery.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from ProQuest Central China in the Knowledgebase on February 7, 2023. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is PRINS.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before February 7:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
