360 KB: SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System Journals Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- November 2020

What is happening to the database SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System Journals?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System Journals from provider NASA in the Knowledgebase. The titles cannot be represented in the KnowledgeBase anymore, since the provider cannot supply linking syntax for these titles. Existing links in the database no longer lead to content.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System Journals database in the Knowledgebase on 11 November, 2020. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is RNP.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before 11 November, 2020:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
