360 KB: Social Theory Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- June 2023
What is happening to the database Social Theory?
ProQuest currently has title-level information for the database Social Theory (db code: SOT) from provider Alexander Street in the Knowledgebase. This database was for pre-2014 purchasers, and these customers have been migrated by Alexander Street to a newer version of the Social Theory product. Alexander Street is retiring the pre-2014 version of the database, and only the newer version (db code AAHKA) will remain in the Knowledgebase. Note that db code AAHKA is being renamed from "Social Theory Second Edition" to "Social Theory."
In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Social Theory (db code SOT) and the database will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on June 30, 2023. The database will become a zero-titles database, and no future subscriptions will be possible. (NOTE: The database code for this database is SOT.)
