    1. What is happening to the URL linking syntax and the name of database SBRnet?

What is happening to the URL linking syntax and the name of database SBRnet?

The provider SBRnet has changed the title-level linking syntax and the name of SBRnet database, code ZSB.

Therefore, we will be changing the title-level linking syntax and the name of the database in the Knowledgebase. The content of the database will change as well. Per provider's updated title list, the database will include twelve new titles. All of the current titles will be deleted. The database ID (ZSB), will remain the same.

This change will take effect on May 23, 2017:

    • Before May 23, 2017: SBRnet
    • After May 23, 2017: SMA: Sports Market Analytics

    Before May 23, 2017: http://www.sbrnet.com

    After May 23, 2017: http://sportsmarketanalytics.com

Actions you may need to take:

    • Make sure that either http://sportsmarketanalytics.com or *sportsmarketanalytics.com is included in your proxy configuration before May 23, 2017.
    • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds direct URLs to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after May 23, 2017.
    • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after May 23, 2017.
    • If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
