I can no longer access an FTP URL from the 360 MARC Updates notification email. How can I download my records?
As of April 2021, most major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) no longer support ftp:// URLs due to security concerns. We recommend using a dedicated FTP client instead, such as WinSCP or FileZilla, both of which are free to download.
Once you have an FTP client installed, some browsers may still be able to open ftp:// URLs by re-routing the request to your installed FTP client automatically, or after prompting to open the connection with your client.
Another option besides FTP would be to download your records from Client Center > Data on Demand, but whether this works may depend on the size of your holdings, as very large files may not download successfully from this page.
