Why am I not receiving the Status or License email alerts I have set up in the Resource Manager Alerts tool?
If you have set up the alerts to be sent from an external email provider (such as Hotmail or Yahoo) to your institution's mail system, it is likely that your mail system is interpreting the email as spam and either filing the message into a bulk mail folder or blocking the email altogether.
If this is the case, you should either:
- Begin sending all alerts from your library's address to your library's address; or
- Ensure that the sender's address is white-listed in your recipient email system.
