    "Corrupt installation detected" installing gui500.exe

    Description

    I am unable to install the Aleph 22 GUI client on my desktop.

    Double click on gui500.exe unpacks the various components as expected.

    Double click on setup.exe produces an alert box 'Corrupt Installation detected'

    This happens both with the original gui500.exe and with a repackaged client.

    Resolution

    In this case it seems to have been a permissions issue. A local administrator account was able to install the client without problems.
