    1. Additional Information
    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
After installing the latest service pack, Version Control / Version Check -- whether performed automatically as part of client startup or manually by selecting "Version Check" -- issues the message "œLibrary's host not defined in library.ini."

    Cause:
Incorrect setting of "Library=" in alephcom.ini.

    Resolution:
Correct the value of the "Library=" parameter in the PC's .\Alephcom\tab\alephcom.ini file. The library specified must be one which is included in the .\Alephcom\tab\library.ini file.

    Additional Information

alephcom.ini has these lines: [VersionControl] Library=XXX01 "XXX01" needs to be a bib library for which there is an entry in the .\Alephcom\tab\library.ini. It must be UPPERcase: ABC01, XYZ01, etc.
