    Question

    In Aleph 19 the edit menu has been split up. There are two Edit menus - 'Edit Actions' and 'Edit Text'.

    In the documentation it says:

    To open the 'Edit Actions' menu from the record Editor use 'Right-click' mouse option.
    To open the 'Edit Text' menu from the record Editor use Shift+ 'Right-click' mouse option.

    Is there a way to swap these mouse options so you get the 'Edit Text' menu when you right-click?

    Answer

    The ability to switch these is included as Aleph 21 rep_ver 17411: A "RightClickMenu" parameter has been added to the Editor section of catalog.ini :

    [Editor]
    RightClickMenu=EditActions [the Default] or
    RightClickMenu=EditText

    The latter will give you the 'Edit Text' menu when you right-click.
    Then restart the Catalog client.

    Attached PowerPoint details this.
