    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
After creating ./xxx01/tab/tab11_word entries for the 264 field, modeled after the 260 field entries:

    260 abef 04 WRD WIM
    260 cg 04 WYR
    ...
    264 ab 04 WRD WIM
    264 c 04 WYR

the words in the 264 field are not retrievable in Keyword (while the 260 field words are).

(See sample 264 field in Additional information.)

    Cause:
Non-blank second indicator values 264 fields, while tab11_word specifies that both the first and the second indicators must be blank:

    264 ab 04 WRD WIM
    264 c 04 WYR

    Resolution:
In order to have the 264 be indexed without regard to the indicator values, change the tab11_word entries to these:

    264## ab 04 WRD WIM
    264## c 04 WYR

    Additional Information
