    Question

When creating an ADAM scan job in the GUI field SCJ is created which holds the according information. Subfield $$h has a number followed by the barcode Where does the number come from?

    Answer

According to document "How to use the ADAM scan interface" the normal behavior is that in SCJ$$h the barcode is added introduced by the 001 number of the BIB record. If you need the "pure" barcode, e.g. for the scanning department, refer to subfield $$h where it's added without any additions.
