AIK: Failed to install the COBOL (server express 4.0/5.0) development license

I'm getting errors with v20 AIK step 2_7, installing COBOL as root.

Install COBOL dev. license as root user

I'm not seeing any more detail than this in other log files.

Resolution:
Try these steps (from the internal the http://swami/wiki/COBOL_License_Installation page):

rm -rf /opt/microfocus /var/mfaslmf /var/old_mfaslmf
cd /exlibris/product/cobol5
rm install_cob_rt_lic.tar exlibris64.int autoinstall64 install_cob_rt_lic64_readme
ps -ef |grep mf # Then kill mflm_manager
ipcs -m | grep root | awk '{print $2}' | xargs -t -i{} ipcrm -m {}

Then ... re-run the AIK install of the license...

That worked -- but it's unclear as to just why this was necessary.
