    1. Additional Information
    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
    After changing the occurrences of "8992" to "80" in aleph_start and elsewhere, and restarting apache and the www_server, http://xxx.edu/F is still trying to connect to xxx.edu:8992/F when it should be connecting to xxx.edu:80/F.

    Cause:
    Existing www_server 8992 process....

    aleph@alephstageapp1(a22_2):~..alephe>ps -ef |grep 8992
    aleph 12345 1 0 01:32 ? 00:00:00 csh -f /exlibris/aleph/a22_2/aleph/proc/www_server 4991 8992 5

    Resolution:
    * Kill process 12345.
    * Stop/restart the www_server.

    Additional Information

    The grep should then show: aleph 29082 1 0 14:44 pts/2 00:00:00 csh -f /exlibris/aleph/a22_2/aleph/proc/www_server 4991 80 5 and connection to http://abc.edu/F should now be OK.
