    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description

If an item has a temp location in Aleph (z30_temp_location Y), will this item have both the permanent (HOL record location) and the temporary location in Alma?

    Resolution

Yes.  When Z30-TEMP-LOCATION=Y, we migrate the library/locations stored in the HOL record (field 852) / ADM record (field Z30) as the permanent location, and the information in z30_sub_library / z30_collection as the temporary location.
