    Assign Filing Routine to Fields for Sorting OPAC Brief List

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Assign a filing routine to fields than can be used for sorting in the OPAC brief list
    For example, make call number sorting numerical instead of alphabetical.

    Procedure:
    For OPAC brief list field sorting, a filing routine is assigned in table xxx01/tab/tab_sort, column 2.
    Numerical sorting can be provided by adding the filing routine "expand_num" in xxx01/tab/tab_filing which pads call numbers with leading zeros to provide numerical order in a text field.
