Is it possible to update item process statuses in bulk using a text file of item barcodes?   I am familiar with updating process statuses in bulk using ret-adm-01 and manage-62, but manage-62 requires a list of item record numbers and our staff is wondering if we can do this with a list of barcodes instead. 

Resolution

You can take your file of barcode numbers and use it as input to the manage-70 (Convert record keys) Service, specifying "BARCODE-TO-ITEM" as the Convert Type.  Then you would use the output as input to manage-62.
