    Description:
While working out some problems with the fix_doc_aut_duplicate routine, we noticed the following behavior with the CAT tags added to affected records.

ALL of the records that get updated by fix_doc_aut_duplicate are getting a CAT tag for the cataloger who saved the original record.... I didn't edit AUT 271784, but it's now got a CAT tag with my name in it! Is that how its supposed to work?

Other changes that the system makes get marked as such, why would this be different? We've seen UE-08 and BATCH-UPD in CAT tags.....That's what I'd expect for the record I didn't save to server myself. The one I saved changed in front of my eyes, and thus only adding my name to it is good. But One I never opened or touched should not get my name!

    Resolution:
Development argues that many sites would *want* the cataloger who updated the field (via the fix_doc) to be indicated.

Therefore, no change to this behavior is anticipated.
