    Calculating hold requests actually satisfied

    Description:
    How can you calculate the number of hold requests actually satisfied?

    Resolution:
    The p_cir_30 Circ Statistics job includes Hold transactions, but does not break the results down in any special way.
    The z37h could be used to distinguish holds which have been filled from those which have not: those which have been filled (in the sense that the patron was notified that the item was available) will have z37h_status = 'S'; those which have not will have a z37_status = 'A' or 'W'. {Note: this presumes that you use only z37_send_action 01 (hold shelf); send actions 02 (home delivery), 03 (mailbox delivery), and 04 (Reading Room) don't use z37_status 'S'.}

    Determining whether the patron actually picked up the item from the hold shelf might be possible -- by querying the z36h or z35 in conjunction with the z37h-- but would be complicated (the patron id would have to have not been scrubbed, etc.).
