Trying to connect to the il-aleph07 server we see this:

Enter aleph version : 203
Execute master cshrc
Setting SC environment...
Logging in to :pserver:jerrys@il-cvs01:2401/exlibris/cvs
CVS password:

(Normally, after we enter "203" it gives us the unix prompt.)

Resolution:
Somebody changed the file aleph_start under alephe_root of slot 203.

The problematic line was:

setenv alephe_dev /exlibris/aleph/a20_2

It *should* be:

setenv alephe_dev /exlibris/aleph/a20_3
