    Can't return items with holds on them (at a particular pc)

    Items which do not have holds on them check-in OK, but when we return an item which *does* have a hold on it, an 'Item Return' pop-up box appears which says "Item is on hold". If you click OK, the message goes away but nothing happens -- and the item is not returned.

    The print configuration is set to Normal printing, and the default printer for this machine is the receipt printer attached to it. I've sent a test print to the receipt printer and it works properly.

    I somehow managed to fix the problem. I *think* the solution lay in the fact that my DEVICE-01 configuration (in alephcom.ini) was slightly off, which caused a problem when the client tried to send a hold slip to the printer but could not find it.

    I added the correct DEVICE-01 and the hold slip finally printed as expected.
