Can't zero out the arrival date in Arrival Form

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
Prior to version 18, we could zero out the arrival date on an entry we made to the order arrival list, which was then displayed in the arrival list as "--------". This was very useful for tracking the status of unarrived issues on a standing order, particularly for irregular or published-out-of-sequence issues. The date display of "--------" was easy to locate in a long arrival list.

With version 18 the system does not allow us to zero out the date; zeroes can be entered, but are changed to today's date when the Update button is pressed. We can use a dummy date of 01/01/1990 or whatever, but we miss the advantage of the "--------" popping out visually. Can this be changed?

    Resolution:
This change was performed on purpose on v.18. As you note in your Description, you need to enter the dummy date. The items can then easily be retrieved by the dummy date.
