    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 15.2

    Description:
We have updated our abc01 pc_tab_sear.eng with some additional PF (Print Format) lines and have restarted the pc_server, but these changes are not showing up in the Print format options in the GUI Cataloging.

    Resolution:
Checking the $aleph_utf/utf_files/exlibris/aleph/u50_5/abc01/tab/ we found that the $utf_files version of this file was not updated -- as it *should* have been -- when the pc_server next read the source table.

(Some of the $utf_files were more than 20 months old, indicating that util x/7 had not been run in that time.)

Running util x/7 (to drop the $utf_files and make the system recreate them) corrected the problem.
