Columns off in lines added to file_list's by Upgrade Express

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
The lines added to the file_list by Upgrade Express are not aligned with the column headers. Example:
    !1 2 3 4 5 6
    ! ! ! ! ! !
    ...
    TAB z105 128K 0K TS1D
    IND z105_id 128K 0K TS1X
    TAB z105h 128K 0K TS1D
    TRI z105h_trigger
    IND z16_id4 128K 0K TS1X
    IND z30_id11 128K 0K TS1X
    TAB z309 128K 0K TS1D
    IND z309_id 128K 0K TS1X
    IND z309_id2 128K 0K TS1X
    IND z309_id3 128K 0K TS1X
    IND z309_id4 128K 0K TS1X
    IND z309_id5 128K 0K TS1X

    Resolution:
Like aleph_start and prof_library, file_list is a space-delimited table (a blank space represents a new column). Thus, it functions perfectly fine in the form produced by Upgrade Express -- that is, the values do not need to be lined up in the columns in order for the program to read them correctly.

If you want, you can, of course, edit the inserted lines to make them line up with the column header.
