    Question

    1) Is the order of lines in xxx01/tab/tab11_word important? Is there a difference in the following 2 settings?
    A
    5#### -56 03 WRD
    505## r 03 WAU

    B
    505## r 03 WAU
    5#### -56 03 WRD

    2) Is there a difference in the settings regarding the indexing of specific subfields:

    A
    084## a 01 WRD WBB
    084## 2 01 WRD WBB

    B
    084## a2 01 WRD WBB

    Answer

The order of the lines doesn't matter as in any case all lines from tab11_word are considered for indexing purposes. This is different from some other configuration tables where a field is handled only once at the 1st. occurence (e.g. xxx01/tab/edit_field.lng).

The same for example2: there is no difference in this settings, you can use single lines for every subfield or one line for all required subfields.
