    Question

How to create a permanent link to Web OPAC search results set?

    Answer

    1. Run the search in your Web OPAC.
    2. At the search results set page, copy the URL.
    3. From that URL, remove the temporary session code which is between  the /F/  and the "?" sign

    Example

This is the URL created in the search session (in red, is the session code which should be remove):

    http://<opac base url>:<port>/F/YJJ6H7RYL5V8M7MV9S9HB2VACR9J4F79XR7PGDHGJTQCUM1TT5-00726?func=find-b&request=israel&find_code=WRD&adjacent=N&local_base=USM01&x=52&y=10&filter_code_1=WLN&filter_request_1=&filter_code_2=WYR&filter_request_2=&filter_code_3=WYR&filter_request_3=&filter_code_4=WFM&filter_request_4=&filter_code_5=WSL&filter_request_5=

the permanent link to the search results set is:

    http:// <opac base url>:<port>/F/?func=find-b&request=israel&find_code=WRD&adjacent=N&local_base=USM01&x=52&y=10&filter_code_1=WLN&filter_request_1=&filter_code_2=WYR&filter_request_2=&filter_code_3=WYR&filter_request_3=&filter_code_4=WFM&filter_request_4=&filter_code_5=WSL&filter_request_5=
