    Description:
    We ran p_manage_102 and then p_manage_02 with the following incorrect parameters:

    start (parent proc=p_manage_02) BCL01,1,000000000,999999999,,07,Y,N, 1
    procedure=p_manage_02_a
    setenv p_active_library "BCL01"
    setenv p_delete_flag "1"
    setenv p_force_chk "Y"
    setenv p_duplicate_mode "N"

    We *should* have set p_delete_flag "0". So, running select count(*) from z01 where z01_rec_key_4 like '-NEW%' returns 0 records. So, is there any way to update Z01 manually so that we can use ue_08 to link the cross references? We would rather not do a full re-run of all of the headings indexes.

    Resolution:
    This can be easily done. All of the current headings have -CHK-, which tells ue_08 that the heading has already been checked against the Authority file. As you indicate, you need to change the -CHK- to -NEW- in each heading. When you next start ue_08, just select the 'N' option 'Re-check all headings (as if they were new)'. This is just like Continuous check, except the job will first reset all of the -CHK- values to -NEW-. Once that is accomplished, ue_08 reverts to Continuous check.
