    Description

Is there a job that will delete fines older than a certain date?

    Resolution

The cir-32 job ("Remove Patron IDs") can be used to disconnect patrons from paid cash transactions (so they will no longer appear in the patron's GUI display).

The cir-23 ("Delete patrons") job can delete patrons even though they have unpaid Cash transactions -- see the article " cir-23: Deletion of fines "  in this regard.  Though there is no Aleph job which deletes unpaid Cash transactions without deleting the patron, "Note 2" in the preceding article has SQL which can be used to do this.
