    Description:

    We see the error message

    SP2-0306: Invalid option

in a job log. What should we do?

    Resolution:

In ALEPH, this message usually occurs when a batch program is trying to connect to Oracle.

    1. Enter the command:

    echo $ALEPH_ADMIN

    Is the response:

    ALEPH_ADMIN/ALEPH_ADMIN ?

If not, then correct the .cshrc ALEPH_ADMIN line as described in article " ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied ".

If yes, then proceed to step 2.

    2. Probably the passwords for the Oracle log-ins have been changed in Oracle without change in ALEPH. As described in the article " Changing Oracle user passwords ", such a change must be done via the ALEPH util y/8 utility *only*. Use util y/8 now to update the passwords.

    3. Restart the pc_server
