    Different grace period for late recalled items

    Question

    Can we setup different grace period for late recalled items?
    We wish to give a grace period of 1 day for overdue loans, but NO grace period for overdue recalled loans.

    Answer

    This is not possible. For the grace periods (col. 7 and col. 10 in tab16) you can not differentiate between requested items and non-requested items. The setting in these columns is valid for all loans that relate to the item status, item process status and patron status combination defined in col.2, col. 3 and col. 4.
