    Description:
    Does Aleph keep track of WHEN an item was marked claim return? If so, where is this stored?

    Resolution:
    The z36 loan record doesn't keep track of this, but the claims-returned action does generate a type 18 (Item claimed returned) z309 circ logger record.

    The text associated with this message# 18 is specified in xxx50 tab_circ_log.eng. (The field containing the "18" is the z309_action field; the text will display to the staff member in the GUI Circ Logger.)

    A z35_event_type '66' is also recorded for a claims-returned event. Since the z35 is not viewable online, you would need to use an SQL command to search for these, such as:

    SQL> select z35_event_date from z35 where z35_event_type = '66' and z35_id = <patron ID> ;

    Note that the p_cir_32 (Remove-patron-links) job removes the patron ID from the z309 and z35 records.
