    Question

Export of MAB data with Download Machine-Readable Records (print-03) using format "MARC" or "MARCXML" does not convert the data into this format. How can we get this format with MARC21 tags?

    Answer

A conversion from MAB to MARC21 is needed.

    1. A conversion table from MAB to MARC21 exists in standard MAB environment. This conversion needs the following entries in xxx01/tab/tab_fix:

    MABUS fix_doc_mab FUNC=OUTPUT,FILE=tab_fix_mab
    MABUS fix_doc_mab FILE=tab_fix_mabaseq
    MABUS fix_doc_convit FILE=tab_fix_mab2usm

    2. In print-03 choose fix routine MABUS
