    ETL log contains 'ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P005'

    Problem Symptoms:
    ETL log file in $data_scratch/p_arc_01.log contains the following error:
    select count (*) from ABCR1.mrr_cash

    ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P005
    ORA-27090: Unable to reserve kernel resources for asynchronous disk I/O
    Linux-x86_64 Error: 11: Resource temporarily unavailable

    Arguments too long

    Cause:
    System configuration

    Resolution:
    Change system configuration in /etc/sysctl.conf on the server hosting the ARC DB to
    fs.aio-max-nr =1048576

    Additional Information

    This change should only be applied by qualified system administrators. Explanation for parameter fs.aio-max-nr This value limits concurrent outstanding requests and should be set to avoid I/O subsystem failures.
