    Description:
    I created a course: Test 101.

I clicked on catalog button to catalog an catalog a title into ABC30 and was able to do so.

When I clicked on item to add the item (I entered Shelf for location) I got the message "Error! Item Creation process failed. Try again."

    Resolution:
This message indicates that a required field (sublibrary, item_status, material type, or barcode) is missing. (Or that the Collection, though present, is invalid -- see KB 8192-9192).

If you want to be able to leave the barcode blank and let the system to assign it, you need to have lines like this in the xxx50 tab_checksum:

    CSCR-Z30-BARCODE checksum_create_z30_by_seq
    CSCR-Z30-BARCODE-ISS checksum_create_z30_by_doc_no

    See KB 16384-34195 for details.
