    2011-07-22 13:11:59 Error 5000 Not defined in file ncip_server.

The system run TWO_TASK, and on the Oracle server we get this error in /exlibris/app/oracle/product/102/network/log/listener.log:

    22-JUL-2011 13:11:59 * (connect_data=(sid=abc18)(server=DEDICATED)(CID=(PROGRAM=ncip_server_main)(HOST=dc03vg0012eu)(USER=aleph))) * (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=95.172.90.22)(PORT=61339)) * establish * abc18 * 12518
TNS-12518: TNS:listener could not hand off client connection
    TNS-12547: TNS:lost contact
    TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
    TNS-00517: Lost contact
    Linux Error: 32: Broken pipe

At the same time in i /exlibris/app/oracle/admin/abc18/udump files with this Oracle error is created:

ORA-00020: maximum number of processes 150 exceeded

    Resolution:
I have made a crontab job that restarts the sip2_server at 09:00 each morning.

This should keep the number of processes in Oracle at at acceptable level.
