Extensions for Course Reading html files in Union-View setup

Question

Should the ./www_f_eng Course Reading html files have the extension "u-xxx30" if the library is using union view and the base is U-XXX30?

Answer

The extensions (suffixes) to be used for html files for a particular base are specified in $alephe_tab/tab_base.lng, column 4. Normally it's the library code.

In this particular case, "XXX30 XXX01" have been specified in column 4 for the U-XXX30 base.

Thus, the programs will look first for a file with an "-xxx30" suffix; if not found, a file with an "-xxx01" suffix, and, finally, if still none, a file with no suffix.
