    Description:
One of our sublibraries needs to find all of their records that have a 590 tag. That tag is not indexed. How can it be done?

    Resolution:
p_ret_01 will do this (It doesn't use indexes. It searches the doc records themselves).

In order to limit the results to a specific sublibrary, you can specify the PST or LOC expand in the sys01 tab_expand entry for ret_01. Then in the p_ret_01 submission, specify (besides 590) tag PST##, subfield b with the sublibrary code of this library.

See KB 8192-2295 for an alternative using the z00r.

    Additional Information

    590, index, retrieve, sublibrary, p_ret_01
