    General Retrieval Form returning wrong status

    Description:
    We are having trouble with item statuses and item process statuses as they appear on our General Retrieval Form (ret-adm-01) reports. The XML is returning the wrong values for Item Status (in this case, "Regular Loan") when there is an Item Process Status (in this case, "At bindery") on the record.

    Why is the XML showing the value for the Item Process Status in the Item Status field, and how can it be corrected?

    Resolution:
    To see the real item-status and item-process-status separately , you should add a new line in the file: /exlibris/aleph/unn_n/xxx01/form_eng/general-retrieval-form.trn:

    Note: Ex Libris staff decided not to change the distributed  ./usm01/form_eng/global.trn , since that could affect other customers....

     

    Note that the preceding also applies to the ret-adm-03 "Advanced General Retrieval Form".
