    Description

Can the Aleph version 20 GUI work with Windows 10?

    Resolution

Aleph 20 and 21 are not certified for Windows 10: Ex Libris has not tested them since they were out of support when Windows 10 became available.   See article " Which MS windows version is certified for which Aleph version? "

One customer says that they were able to get the Aleph v20 client working properly on Windows 10 as follows:

     * modified the compatibility settings for the executable modules after installing the client: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ams-compatible
     * then installed an older version of Java (8u31 to be exact) in order to resolve the Saxon printing issue.
